Appointments
Your First Visit
On the first visit to our office, we will complete an initial examination and determine your treatment needs. We will also give you an estimate of costs involved.
Records
If you decide to proceed with treatment, we will require diagnostic records to determine the detailed course of treatment. Records typically include impressions of the teeth, digital images of the patient's face and teeth, and X-rays. This information is used to develop a custom treatment plan for each patient. These records are also helpful in tracking the progress of treatment as the teeth move.
Braces Day!
First, we will discuss the final treatment plan with you during a second consultation. We will then install the appliances (braces, expanders, etc.), which usually takes at least an hour. We will also demonstrate proper use, care and cleaning techniques that will be required.
Regular Appointments
You'll then see us at regular intervals, which are typically 6 to 8 weeks apart for an adjustment.
Financial Arrangements
The cost of treatment may vary depending on your orthodontic needs. Before you begin treatment, we will discuss our fees as they pertain to you. We accept most insurance plans and offer several financing options to make treatment affordable. Our fees are based on the total treatment cost from start to finish, and not based on each appointment. We can offer low down payments, and break the balance down into easily manageable, no interest, monthly payments. If you have insurance, we will check the benefits for you. If you would like a pre-treatment determination of your benefits, our insurance coordinator can submit this estimate to your insurance. For your convenience, we accept payment by Visa and MasterCard. We work hard to make our care affordable!
